The 7000-acre Barningham estate is at the centre of the premier English grouse moors, on the North Yorkshire and Durham borders. We are therefore in an excellent position to supply boxes of 6, 8 or 10 oven ready young grouse for immediate consumption, or for the freezer. Birds are despatched direct to you, plucked and dressed, via overnight courier in boxes with ice packs. They are carefully selected young birds, although we are also in a position to provide older grouse if required.

Young grouse are a special delicacy at this time of year, offering an ideal dinner party treat for those wanting something out of the ordinary. Or, grouse can simply be eaten as an alternative to chicken and other game birds. We estimate that one bird will feed 2 adults, although there are many of our customers who prefer one bird per person! Ordering your oven ready grouse is simple. Boxes can contain 6, 8 or 10 birds. You can order as many boxes as you like. The price is £70 for a box of 6 birds, £90 for a box of 8 birds and £110 for a box of 10 birds. Price includes delivery. Deliveries can be arranged anywhere on mainland Great Britain for Tuesday to Thursday delivery inclusive. Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands Outer Isles and northern Scotland will cost £10 more.
